A cozy apartment for retirement. A couple, coming from the outskirts of the city, looking to replace their long lived home with a practical and flexible home in the core of Madrid. Guided by fengshui principles, the owner wanted to avoid sharp wall edges and corners. The entrance hall, the most conflicting area of the house, is organised through an oak faced round built-in module that hides guest toilet and coat closet and connects to the kitchen area.
From the main entrance, we access the living room - visually connected to the study through ironmongery glass doors. What used to be the corridor, we now turned into a wide walk-in closet, leading to both main bedrooms.
